It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Curtis Andre Jackson, who left us unexpectedly on August 22, 2025. Born on November 29, 1979, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Curtis the fourth of five children born to Brenda and William Jackson Sr. He resided in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he had made a life of joy, love and adventure with his beloved family.

Curtis was known for his kindness, free spirit, and the genuine care he showed to everyone around him. He enjoyed traveling, playing video games, and spending time with loved ones. Curtis was often called "a gentle giant" for his large presence, big heart and calm nature.

A proud graduate of Princeton High School, Class of 1997. Curtis made lasting friendships that he cherished. He was in good health until his passing, a testament to the vitality he brought to each day.

Curtis is survived by his wife Selena Rae Jackson, daughters Essence Mariah Jackson and Jayla LaRae Jackson, brothers William Jackson Jr., and Marcus Jackson, sisters Latoya Harris and Latrica Jackson, nieces, Aysha Williams, Kiara Jackson, Sianni Jackson and nephews Tavari Jackson and Umarcus Jackson.

He is preceded in death by his mother Brenda Jackson, father William Jackson Sr. and niece Taijah Calloway.

Curtis will always be remembered with love and his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him.
