CURTIS EUGENE FORNEY passed peacefully the afternoon of June 3rd at Northgate Park, Cincinnati Ohio. He was 85 years old. During the final days of his life, he was surrounded, loved, and supported by his devoted family and caregivers.

CURTIS was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Eugene Forney and Minnie (Hendricks) Forney. He was the second oldest among his siblings and received his education through the Cincinnati Public School System. He held roles as an electrician, engineer, manager, and director during his 31-year career at the University of Cincinnati.

CURTIS was baptized on February 11, 1951, as a symbol of his dedication to Jehovah God. He loved people and life and was passionate about teaching interested ones Bible truths. He also enjoyed helping members of the congregation with how to give discourses and share in the ministry. Curtis was outgoing, adventurous, and known as a thoughtful problem solver.

On June 10th 1961, Curtis was united in marriage to Alma. Their life together was marked by love, faith, commitment, and devotion, and from this union three children were born.

CURTIS leaves not to mourn his passing, but to cherish his precious memory: his wife, Alma Forney; his children Jeffrey (Traci) Forney, Anita (Gregory) Robinson, and Linette Forney; his Brother, Donald (Pearl) Forney; his sisters, Caritha (Forney) Stokes, Tanya Morgan (deceased), and Denise Williams; his brother-in-law, Andrew (Ann) Johnson, his sisters-in-law, Susan P. Richardson and Catherine Tatum; his cousins Madeline West, Belinda (West) Ford, Valerie (Hendricks) McCraig, and Catherine (Gooden) Watkins; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren; and host of relatives and many dear friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witnesses, 5572 Red Bank Road, Cincinnati (45227). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 1:45 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy leaves behind.

He will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
