Crystal Rene' Sturgill, age 62, of Independence, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 in Edgewood, Kentucky. She was born December 3, 1961, to the late Esther Groh Spencer and Charles Cain.

Crystal always enjoyed playing bingo and spending her time with her family.  She really enjoyed most of her time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Cain Jr., sisters, Charla Watts, Cynthia Reekers, and son, Charles Sturgill.

She leaves behind her husband of forty-five years, Raymond Sturgill; son, Joshua Sturgill (Jessica Ooten); daughters, Nicole Sturgill, Angela Walker (Chris Cole) and Sarah Sturgill (Greg Martindale) and 14 grandchildren.  Her stepfather Elbert Spencer, brother Eric Spencer (Bethany), sisters, Tanya Forgue (Harry), Brandi Forgue (James).

Visitation is from 11:00 am until 12 noon, on  Monday, December 18, 2023, at the Walker Funeral Home, 1129 Garrard Street, Covington  (41011).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 12 noon.

Interment will follow at Independence Cemetery,  5368 Madison Pike, Independence, Kentucky 41051.
