Obituary

Crezel Beasley, age 100, passed away April 25, 2003 at her residence in Lockland, Ohio. Born February 1, 1903, in Wilcox County, Alabama, she was the daughter of Ed McArthur and Texanna Mims. Crezel McArthur Beasley was one of many siblings that blessed the union of Texanna (Mims) and Ed McArthur. She entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 25, 2003, at her home. She spent her early years in Selma, Alabama coming to Covington, Kentucky as a young woman. There she met and married Sam Snow Davidson. Her life was blessed with Snow's daughter, Mildred. They enjoyed many happy years of marriage until his passing in 1954. She later marred James Beasley. She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter and son-in-law, Mildred and Thomas "Sonny" Armbrister of Miami, Florida; one son, James Hatcher of Detroit, Michigan; Charles and Ira B. Hampton, Crezel's extended family; devoted friends, Hilda and A. B. Moore; special caregivers, Charlene Hampton and Paula Daniel and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
