IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Corey Lamond
Holimon
September 25, 1987 – October 25, 2018
Corey Lamond Holimon was born on September 25, 1987, to Gail Holimon and William Pollock, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the middle child of three.
Corey lived in Cincinnati all his life where he attended Withrow High School and graduated 2009. Corey was the first special need student to be in the Honors Society at Withrow High School. Eventhough Corey was autistic he did not let it stop him from living his best life.
Work: Corey worked at the Goodwill Donation Center on the Westside for years doing assembling/sorter until he was no longer physically able to attend. Even when he was placed on 24/7 oxygen Corey still wanted to work and would pull his oxygen tank on the Access van to take to work.
Family Life: Corey was raised in a God-fearing home, and knew every Sunday only was devoted to Gospel music, and some of his favorite Gospel singers were Rev. James Cleveland and Canton Spirituals. Corey was baptized as an adult.
Personality: Corey was a warm-hearted person, if you need help, he was always there to give a helping hand, even if you did not ask for it. Don't leave a dirty dish on the table, Corey would remove it before you noticed it was gone. Corey loved to smile and give hugs.
Corey loved listening to all kinds of music, watching the losing Bengals and Reds play. His two favorite movies were Crooklyn and The Five Heart Beats which he enjoyed watching all the time with his late father Bill. Corey's favorite musical artist was Michael Jackson/Jackson 5, so anything showing or playing Michael Jackson he would watch. Corey could not wait to get home from work and get on the computer to watch old Soul Train episodes on the computer; all day long like it was a brand new episode. His favorite color was purple which symbolize creativity, peace and wisdom.
On Thursday, October 25th, Corey was called home. He leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Gail A Holimon; siblings sister Shannon(Joey) Holimon-Butts, one brother Kevin Holimon. One niece Reagan Butts. Uncle Jerry Holimon, and two aunts Ernestine Maley, and Janice Easterling. God-mother Myra Belton He also leaves behind a host of cousins and special friends.
Proceeding him in death, Dad William Pollock, and grandparents Albert & Alberta Holimon.
