Connie Sue Deaton, age 60, of Cleves, OH, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026. Connie was born on January 29, 1966, in Cincinnati, OH to the late Barbara Jean Williams and Charles Doyle Mullins.
Connie was a woman of faith with a heart bigger than most. If you ever needed anything-a meal, a place to go, someone to talk to, or just someone to listen-she was only a phone call away, no matter the time of day or night. She would give you her very last dollar and go without herself if it meant helping someone else. That’s just who she was.
Her children, grandchildren, and family were her whole world, and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them. Connie never met a stranger. She had a way of making everyone feel welcome, loved, and as though they belonged. She loved going to church, spending time with her family, playing board games with her grandkids, and making memories with the people she loved most.
Connie will be remembered for her kind heart, her selfless spirit, and the unconditional love she gave so freely to everyone around her. She fought with incredible strength until her very last breath, surrounded by the family who loved her beyond words. While our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing she is finally at peace in the arms of the Lord.
Connie was preceded in death by the love of her life, Lannie Deaton.
She is survived by her children, Jennifer Deaton, Ryan (Jessica) Deaton, and Shania Deaton; grandchildren, Jenna Deaton (Andrew Cecil), Ashlynn Deaton, Cassidy Deaton, Kadynce Deaton, R.J. Deaton, McKenzie Deaton, Eli Deaton, and Holly Lanter. She is also survived by her siblings, Belinda Noble and Tawana Mullins.
Connie will also be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews; Jessica (Micah) Policano, Eric (Jessica) Mullins, Bianca Policano (Clay Chinn), Jordan Mullins, Cecilia (Eddie) DuChaine, Aaron Noble, Stacey Mullins; her best friend Lisa Richardson; along with many extended family members, friends, and all who loved her.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
-Matthew 25:23
