Cleophus Edwards, age 69, passed away April 6, 2013 in San Diego, California. Cleophus 'Cid' Edwards, born October 10, 1943 in Selma, Alabama is a graduate from Tennessee State University, played professional American football in the NFL from 1968 to 1975. He was a Running Back for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1968-1971, San Diego Chargers from 1972-1974, and the Chicago Bears in 1975. Funeral Services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16 at Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 1025 E. McMillan Avenue, Cincinnati (45206) with visitation from 3:00 p.m. until hour of service. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Walker Funeral Home.
