Clark Griffin Samuels was born July 23, 1945 in Cincinnati, OH. He departed this life peacefully the afternoon of October 26, 2016 in Columbus, OH. Clark was reared up in First Baptist Church Cumminsville where his father was Pastor. Clark was an entrepreneur. He started his own business called CRR Services. Clark graduated from Hughes High School in Cincinnati, OH. He also attended Central State University. He spent part of his life in Cincinnati, OH, Dayton, OH and Columbus, OH. Clark enjoyed all sports but his favorites included playing golf and going to the race tracks. He loved coaching football and baseball. In 1974, Clark married Rowena Lewis and to that union was born one child, Rochelle. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Nick and Sarah Samuels and two brothers, Nick Samuels, Jr. and Kevin Thomas and one nephew, Donald Davis, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory; his former spouse Rowena Samuels, his daughters, Rochelle Samuels and Athena (Sidney) Springer, special granddaughter Aleia Samuels along with 8 other grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, mother-in-law, Lillian Lewis, two aunts Fannie Reeves and Mildred Williams, one uncle, Melvin (Rowena) Reeves, six siblings, Nicholas (Aletha) Morrow, Gladys (Horace) Harris, Victoria Mincy, Deborah (Ike) Williams, Elizabeth (Donald) Davis and John (Kellie) Thomas, two foster brothers, Ollie Scott and John Larkins, a very devoted friend, Jean Burse along with a host of nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
