Clarence H. Nailon, Jr. was born on March 9, 1934 to the union of Margaret (nee Arnold) Nailon and Clarence H. Nailon, Sr.

Clarence was educated in the Cincinnati Public School System.

Clarence served in the United States Army during the Korean War from April 5, 1955 until he was honorably discharged on May 2, 1960.

After the service, Clarence found employment with the U. S. Postal Service on Dalton Street.  He retired after 40 years of loyal service.

Clarence was a referee at the Findlay Street Neighborhood House.  He also worked with the Golden Gloves organization being home to several Gold Gloves Champs.  This being a great love of his.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Clarence Nailon, Sr.

Clarence departed this life at the age of 84 on Friday, November 9, 2018.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife of 64 years, Rose (nee Miller) Nailon; five children, Ralph (Michie), Paula Nailon, Jerry Nailon, Dwayne (Denise) Nailon and Sakeena (Julio) Nailon-Rivera, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Graveside service is from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Spring Grove Cemetery.

Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
