Sr. and Elsa L. Gilford was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 1, 1947. She was one of five children. Cheryl graduated from Princeton High School and attended St. Rita's school for the deaf where she was working towards her degree in sign language. She was a member of St. Simon of Cyrene Episcopal Church and visited New Song Ministries. She was an accomplished advocate for animals; working tirelessly to find homes for stray dogs and cats with various organizations. Cheryl was a loving and giving mother, sister, loved one and friend. Her heart was full of love and kindness which she bestowed upon everyone around her. She loved to bring joy and laughter to your most difficult day, even if she had a hard day herself. She leaves to cherish her memory: her very much loved daughters, Gina Meyer and Lisa Price; her dear grandchildren Arie and Senna Meyer, and Dylan and Chloe Price. Her devoted siblings; Charlotte Woolens, Charles Jr., Cassandra, and Carlton Gilford, her Godchildren; James Jr. and Michael Cobb and Amy and Fred Harris, who she loved as her own, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
