Obituary

Charles Willingham, the beloved son of the late Jesse Willingham Jr. and Gladys Ingram-Willingham was born on June 28, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Charles graduated high school at Quarter Tech in 1969. Charles then attended Job Corp and started working at General Motor Fisher Bodies. Later Charles joined his father at the Galenstine Construction Company as a cement finisher. In 1974, Charles started his towing company, now known as 'Red Bank Towing' and became known as 'Charles the Tow Man' within his community of Madisonville. In 2008, Charles passed his business down to his son Charles Stewart, whom he loved very much. Charles may have retired from the 'Towing' business at that time, but he continued to show up for work at the 'Yard' every day until he became ill. Charles was a quiet, kind, loving, and giving man. He enjoyed spending time with his son at the 'Yard', as well as spending time with his grandson. Charles also had a special bond with his brothers Darryl and Toni as well. In his younger years, Charles was loved by the ladies and was known as the 'Ladies Man'. But, lastly Charles was a devoted father to his children. Charles was preceded in death by his late wife Brenda Roland-Willingham; his father, Jesse Willingham Jr.; his sister, Jessica Willingham; and his brother, Gary Willingham whom he loved dearly. Charles leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Gladys Willingham; ex-wife, Brenda Stewart; son, Charles Stewart (Paulette); adopted son, Toni Latimer; siblings, Darryl Willingham (Leah) and Tony Willingham (Sandy); sister-in-law, Denise Willingham; grandchildren, Izaak and Weslie, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
