Charles attended Cincinnati Public Schools and later obtained his GED. He was a certified electrician working at various jobs through the Greater Cincinnati area. Charles married Deborah Jean Shelton on June 17, 1994. Charles loved life, his family and friends. He never met a stranger and everybody loved him. Watching sports on TV was one of his favorite past times. Charles leaves behind his loving wife of 20 years, Deborah J. Shelton-Walker; three children, Charles Shelton, Sheriece Medallion, and Kerri Dowell; one sister, Angela Walker, and a host of other relatives and friends.
