Charles Augustus Raiford was born in Elberton, Georgia on August 44, 1934 to the late Willa Mae Morigney and the Rev. Tate Morigney. He departed this life on August 22, 1999. He went peacefully in his sleep.
He leaves his wife Elottie B. Raiford; children, Charles A. Raiford Jr, Wayne A. Raiford, Tracey D. Raiford, and Sharon A. Raiford; daughter-in-law, Miriam Raiford; grandchildren, Joshua, Alex, Jasmine and Rashawn; uncle Lonnie Morigney.
Mr. Charles A. Raiford will be laid to rest on Tuesday, August 31, 1999 at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.
