Obituary

Charles Lee Miller "Chucky" was born to the late Sims and Bertha Miller in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 28, 1960. He was the youngest of six children. He departed this life on January 23rd 2022.

As a child Charles attended New St. Paul Missionary Baptist with his parents. As a young man Charles accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and throughout his adult life continued in fellowship at New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He didn't hesitate to share with anyone that New St. Paul was his church home. Two of Charles favorite gospel songs were "Never Would've Made It" and "The Best In Me" by Marvin Sapp. He often testified that he knew it was God who was carrying him through the highs and lows of life and in spite of the mistakes he made in life he loved God and he knew that God not only loved him but that He always saw the very best in him. Charles was always ready to talk about God.

Charles grew up in "Over The Rhine" where he attended Taft high school. He was well known, loved and respected by everyone who encountered him. Charles was a natural leader and businessman at heart. Early in his career he worked for UPS and Coca-Cola corporation, but soon went on to pursue his aspirations for entrepreneurship in various ways. During his later years he pursued his desire for Real Estate investing and took up courses with the Renatus Real Estate Group. He was apart of several health & wellness organizations such as Ardyss where he was recently promoted to supervisor. He also partnered with the companies Evolve, Xelr8, and Travorium. Charles was a true go getter who believed in getting to the money and never turned away from his entrepreneurial pursuits.

His greatest joy was being surrounded by family. You could count on him to be present at family gatherings, weddings, and birthday celebrations of his loved ones especially his children and grandchildren. He was affectionately known as "Grand P" by his great-granddaughter Khloe, who somehow managed to have him as her personal Chauffer and biggest supporter of her as a Q-Kids dance team member. Many of his nieces and nephews looked up to him and hew was well known for sharing him knowledge wisdom from his life experience and street credibility. He always had a smooth saying or quote that would stick with you for days to come. He was a serious man most of the time but he had a big heart and loved to have a good time. He thought singing was his hidden talent but it was his deep voice that commanded attention. A voice that will truly be missed and was one of a kind.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bertha & Sims Miller; his sister Lilian Fuqua and brother Eddie Miller. He leaves to cherish the leading lady of his life: Dearie Cheatham; two siblings, Robert Miller & Willie Miller; bestfriend, Kelton Brundidge; six beloved children, Nekeyah Johnson (Lonnie III), Erica Sewell (Husband Rico), Charles Miller Jr., Stephandie Harper (husband, Joseph), Cameron Morton, and Chaz Wynn; thirteen grandchildren, Keyontae, Keyaira, Keyshawn, Keymale, Tyjah, Charles Miller III, Jyaire, Camden, Jayce, Chayce, Morgan, Paris, and Ean; three great-grandchildren: K'hloe, Keyontae Jr., Taylore. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends whom he loved and cherished dearly.
