Charles Martez Jackson, was born on May 29, 1988 to Tanya Jackson (Johnson) and Charles Collins. Everybody called him Martez or Tez. I bet most of y'all didn't know that Charles was his first name. Martez went to Taft Information and Technology, Class of 2007. Martez was a very loving person; he met friends everywhere he went and had the most beautiful smile. Martez also loved to play basketball and he played ball all summer most times with his brother, Jason.

Martez also was a dedicated Bengals fan (Who Dey). Martez also enjoyed cooking and he was good at it.  He worked for Mr. Pigs on Findlay Market for years as a cook. Martez also enjoyed hanging out with his sister Crystal Martez was her rollie they did things like going to carnivals the park out to eat shopping or just riding around listening to music, but most of all they enjoyed each other company it was never a dull moment when these 2 got together. They also enjoyed throwing gatherings for the footballs games and boxing. She's going to miss those texts from him asking what we doing the weekend or just pulling up to his house. Martez was her rollie her best friend but most of all her little brother she will always cherish the memories and she's gonna miss you dearly.

On May 5, 2019 Charles was called home to be with the Lord his beautiful smile will truly be missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Collins and uncle, Earl Chenault and grandmother, Idella Williams. Charles leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Tanya Jackson (Johnson);  father, Salmon

Johnson; his grandmother, Diane Rucker; grandfather, Daniel Jackson Jr.; and a loving girlfriend Danielle Smith; sisters Crystal, Darla (Preston), Keishia, and Ashley; brothers, Jason (Rhonda) Charles, Willie and Salmen Jr.; uncles, Daniel Jackson Jr the third Allen Collins; aunts, Robin Peavy (Andre) Renee Hayes (Dwayne) Sandra Collins and Della Walker; nephews, Corey Jr., Solomon, Xavier, Preston Jr, Jayron, Jayce and Jason Jr.; and a host of loving cousins, family and friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Friday, May 24, 2019, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati  (45206).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, 45220.
