Dr. Charles Harmon Pierce, MD, PhD, born July 26, 1934, in Brainerd, Minnesota, lived an extraordinary 91 years. A lifelong Rotarian since 1979, he dedicated his life to service. Charles was passionate about squash, water-skiing, traveling the world, often alongside his beloved wife, was passionate about art and was an awesome self taught photographer.

He earned both his MD and PhD, made strides in clinical research, and spent his career helping others. He is survived by his wife Barbara Yearwood-Pierce, daughter Darah, sons’ Dion, Harmon and Starr, and his grandchildren Sarah, Anna , and Sam, and siblings Bonnie May and Priscilla. He was preceded in death by his brother Thomas, beloved daughter Sarah, and grandson Donavon. His legacy of kindness, learning, and adventure lives on in all who knew him.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The memorial service will begin at 3:00 pm.
