Cherlene Portis, age 52, of Cincinnati, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2014. She was born in Stamford, Connecticut, on February 21, 1962, to the late Susie Mae Palmer and Wille T. Anderson. Cherlene was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Cincinnati. She loved her family and friends, and would give the world to them if she could. Cherlene Portis leave to cherish her memories her two daughters, Kizzy (James) Lewis of Stamford, Connecticut, Tashay Portis of Cincinnati, Ohio; four sisters, Diane Wash and Marie Palmer of Stamford, Connecticut, Doris (Robert) Anderson and Debbie Morris of Cincinnati, and one brother, Maurice Palmer of Cincinnati. Her grandsons, Landell Sheckles, Jr. and Malcolm Lewis of Stamford Connecticut, her nieces and nephews, Anthony (Diane ) Wash, Maurice Wash of Stamford Connecticut, and Mia Morris and Kenya Morris of Cincinnati, and Stacey Smith of Cincinnati, Shawn Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia, and Tamala Saunders of Cincinnati, Sharece Palmer , Maurice Palmer, Denzel Palmer, all of Ohio. Her God Daughter, Latosha McKinnon, of Cincinnati, Ohio and a special friend, Donald Phillips of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a host of nieces and nephews and family and friends. She was preceded by her mother, Susie Mae Palmer, father, Willie T. Anderson, brother, Tommy Palmer, grandson, Purcell Griffin, Jr., sister, Mary Fudge, and nephew, Larry Morris. To My Mommy: You are an outstanding mother and great women of god and god is well pleased, your faith and your working skills your daughter have pick up. You also have a kind heart for your family and friend and all that are around. Now that you're gone your daughters are very lonely with out there best friend and mother. Please trust and believe that we will stick together thru this. We as your daughters promise to be strong young women that you have raised us to be. We just can't it get out of are heads the memories and the laughter that we have shared in this life time. You being there for the up and the down. Now that your gone we have you in our hearts and now your are protector and our angel in heaven that will guide us along the way to see you again.
