Charlene Elizabeth Long passed away August 13, 2014 at the age of 45. She was born on June 29, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio. CHARLENE Departed this earthly house on August 13, 2014 at her home. Although she is pe lhysically gone, but never forgotten, and she will remain in the hearts of all those whom loved her. CHARLENE was born in Cincinnati Ohio and was blessed to to be born from Charles, and Patricia Long, whom loved her dearly. Charlene graduated from Hughes High School, she later persued her education and became an CNA, she loved and enjoyed what she did so much, that she went to Brown Mackie College and obtained her LPN'S CHARLENE loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, and friends, she loved going out enjoying herself. Charlene loved her two son's very much, she was and excellent mother. Charlene was very intelligent, and she always spoke her mind, rather you liked it or not, however she did it with love. CHARLENE really loved her job, and all the patience she worked with, they new she did not take no mess, from them, they new when she was on duty that they was not going to get with anything. She worked at Oak pavilion for 10 years, she worked at Home and heart Stone, she worked at Clover nut Nursing home, she was currently employed, at Mullium Care, and Center for Respite Care, Charlene loved her job so much, she worked 2 jobs in the same field, what a hard worker she was. CHARLENE was found deceased on August 13, on her little sisters birthday, by her oldest son, Kayron, and from that day to this day his life haven't been the same. Charlene was blessed to give birth to two wonderful sons. Kayron her oldest son, has been there for his mother, never causing her any heart ake nor and pain, he lost his best friend who he talked to about everything, and he called her 10 times a day, sharing everything with her, he was an excellent son, no one could have asked for a better son, she done a wonderful job raising her two handsome son's by her self. CHARLENE was an very good friend, cant name them all afraid I may miss someone she had so many friends, The Ridge way crew, the work crew, the crew that graduated with her, the neighbor hood crew. You all was dear to her, and your also dear to her family. To meet her in the air are those who proceeded her in death, her Aunt Odessa, her Father Charles Long Sr, and her nephew Christopher Lindsay. Charlene leaves to cherish her memories her, mother Patricia Long, Step father Arthur ( Sandy) Ponder, her favorite uncle Doug Colbert her siblings Charles Long Jr, Karen (Robert) Trotman, Favorite Brother in Law Jimmy Lindsay Sr, Charlotte ( TWIN) Margaret, Sandra, Ardella, Her Children Kayron, Ronnie, Nice's, and Nephews, Cleve, Jimeka (Martez), Antonio, Johneice, Jimmy Jr, Jimell, Christina, Great Nice's, and Nephews, Clevon, Amerykal, Aaniyah, Antonio, Akeelah, Lyniah, Christopher, Macii, Aria, Ariana, Maurlii, Christopher, Sharod, Christopher, Maddox, Derick, Donate , Monique, and a host of friends and family. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10:00 am at Christ Temple Full Gospel Baptist Church, 3060 Durrell Street, Cincinnati (Evanston) 45207 with the visitation from 9:00a.m. Until 10:00 am. Interment in Landmark Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Walker Funeral Home-Walnut Hill, 1025 E. McMillan Street, Cincinnati (Walnut Hills) 45206.
