Obituary

Charlea Mae (Porter) Hinton was born on January 5, 1923 to the union of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jasper and Emma (Johnson) Porter. She was the seventh of eight children. Charlea passed away November 21,2012. Char lea grew up in Greenwood, Mississippi. Greenwood High School. She attended Charlea was united in marriage on her birthday January 5, 1946 to the late Willie Hinton. They were married 60 (sixty) plus years. Charlea and Willie moved to Cincinnati ten days after their marriage. She was a member of Peace Baptist Church. Charlea loved flowers (she often said 'give me flowers while I'm living so I can enjoy the'), feeding peanuts to wild birds and squirrels playing bid whist and sincerely befriending everyone she met with warmth and love. One of the last things MAMA said was 'I LOVE THE WHOLE WORLD' Charlea leaves to cherish her memory: her son Thomas; her godson, Philip Wodfork; sister, Jean Goolsby; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me, Though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. St. John 11:25-26 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me besides the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the Paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the Shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me: thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the Presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil: My cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow Me all the days of my life: and I will CDwe[[ in the house of the Lord' forever
