Charell R. Davis Woods was born on November 13, 1968, to the union of Raymond I. Davis and Diane Davis.

Charell accepted Christ at an early age at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained a longtime member until her health began to fail.

Charell was employed at ADVICS for nearly 30 years. She was a loving, kind, and generous person who never met a stranger. Like her mother, Charell had a giving spirit. She carried on the shopping tradition her mother began with HSN and QVC. They never bought just one of anything, so someone was always going to receive a gift or two.

Charell also worked diligently on her maternal family's reunions, continuing the tradition established by her mother. She also helped in the church kitchen while working third shift. Charell was a member of the BBC Mass Choir.

When her granddaughter, Ny’Aire, was born, Charell's home became filled with all things “Bluey.” Whatever she did for you or shared with you, she did it with a smile.

Her mother, Diane Davis; grandparents Anderson Allmon, Jr., and Irene Williams Allmon; and father-in-law Sam Smith all preceded her in her homegoing.

She leaves to cherish and celebrate her memory her loving husband, Leonard D. Woods; her father, Raymond I. Davis; her sons, D’Andre Jemal Gaymon and Robert J. Davis; her granddaughter, Ny’Aire “LeLe” Davis; her brothers, Andre (Nissa) Davis and Jemal Davis of Atlanta, Georgia; her sister, Cheree (Ronnie) Taylor; her aunts, Gwendolyn (Richard) Jones and Gertrude (John) Love; her mother-in-law, Margaret Woods; her brothers-in-law, Steve Woods, Stephen Smith, and Sam Smith Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Shannon Woods, Sharon Smith, and Barbara Jo Smith; A bonus daughter, Brittany Jones, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 9:30 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Bethel Baptist Church, 2712 Alms Place, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

She will be laid to rest at Landmark Memorial Gardens, 1600 Glendale Milford Road , Cincinnati, Ohio 45215.
