Carter Van Buren Webb was born on august 12, 1943 in Columbia, Tennessee to the union of the late William E. Webb, Sr. and Elizabeth Carter-Webb.  He departed this life on August 14, 2019.

Carter attended Cincinnati Public Schools and was a graduate of Hughes High School. Carter met his wife Dorothy.  The couple was blessed with two sons, Eric and Dyon; two grandsons, Terrance and Erik.  Carter and Dorothy shared fifty-one years together.

Carter confessed Christ at an early age and joined Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church in Walnut Hills.  After marriage he attended St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church with his family.  Carter was employed at the Powell Valve Company for over thirty years.  After retirement you could see him at Sycamore Senior Center or the Blue Ash Y exercising.; but mostly meeting and enjoying talking to the other seniors.  He enjoyed traveling to Florida and being on the beach.  His favorite pasttime was watchingall sports especially basketball.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife Dorothy; two sons, Eric (Teri Jo) and Dyon; two grandsons, Terrance Carter and Erik Malik; one brother, William E. Webb III (Yvonne)and numerous  relatives and friends.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati (45229). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
