Obituary

Carson Underwood Sr. was born on June 24, 1975 to the union of Barbara and Derek Underwood Sr. Carson received his education through the Cincinnati Public School System. He accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. Carson was a Jack of many trades, although he mastered landscaping. Carson put his blood, sweat and tears into landscaping for 18 years. Carson's hard work and determination landed him a management position that he was very proud of and held for a number of years. In his free time, Carson enjoyed his children and family. He believed that he was a great cook and comedian. He had a one of a kind laugh that will always be remembered. Carson was always the life of the party. He enjoyed helping others, he would give anyone the shirt off his back without thinking about himself. He never met a stranger, they ended up being his cousin, aunt or uncle so and so! Carson had many nicknames: Car Face, Kane, Face, and the one and only Kernel. When able to enjoy alone time with his wife Lacey and his life partner, they would watch a good flick. Carson called all his kids, Daddy Na Na Butt Butt! He loved all his children unconditionally. His love for his family and no one could stand in the way of the love they shared for one another. Carson encouraged all his children to continue their education. Carson was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ann Johnson, and niece Brittany DeLisa Walker. He leaves to cherish in his loving memory: his father, Derek Underwood, Sr.; three brothers, Derek Jr. (Mariah, Keith, Brittany (deceased), Diamond, Jewell, Elijah, Sapphire), Dwayn (Brianna, Dwayn Jr., Jawon, Da'quan, Briasia), and James (James Jr., Jaylen and Winter); one sister, Tonya (Tyonna); his beloved wife, Lacey Underwood; 17 children, Meshia, Carson N., Kamerynn, Cordae, Darrieon, Carson D., Heaven, December, Alica, Carson Jr., Carcionna, Noelle, Raynise, Deiontray, Adam, Malaki and Gia; two grandchildren, TyLeigh and Tristan; six brothers from other mothers, Timothy Reed, Rontony Boyd, Johnny Boyd, Jason Floyd, Lavonne Palmer and Jamar Mohammed. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Carson Underwood , age 39, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014, in , . He was born June 24, 1975 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 17, 2014 at New Mission Missionary Baptist Church, 4809 Ravenna Street, Cincinnati (45227) with visitation from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
