Carolyn Mosley was born to the union of Robert and Susie Will (Thompson) Mosley, both preceding her in death, on June 29, 1943. Carolyn was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a child she attended Cincinnati Public Schools. At the age of eight years old Carolyn sang her first solo at St. John AME Zion Methodist Church. Later she joined Cornerstone Baptist Church, there she would sing in the choir and taught Sunday School. At the age of twelve Carolyn was baptized, at the age of fifteen she joined the Church of the Living God. She later became a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She remained singing praises unto the Lord until God called her home. Carolyn was a huge part of the many groups and choirs she held membership to such as; The Stonestreet Gospel Singers which consisted of her children : Joyce Ann Stonestreet Joseph E. Stonestreet JoAnn (Annie) Stonestreet & her niece Delores (Deedee) Turner, Six Choir Union, Charles Fold Singers and for fifteen years on Channel 5 with the James Brown Gospel Singers just to name a few. She has blessed people with her beautiful voice from coast to coast. Carolyn is preceded in death by her daughter Joyce Ann Stonestreet, brothers John Lewis Holloway Mosley and Fred Lee Mosley Jr. sister Barbara Ann (Mosley) Smith and best sister friend Jacquline Graham. She leaves to cherish her memories; her son Joseph Ephrim Stonestreet & daughter JoAnn Stonestreet Riley (Melvin) her sister Mary Hill (Vaughn) best sister friend Beverly Walters, god daughter Antoinette(Cornelius) Prude, 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grand children and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at the Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3655 Harvey Avenue, Cincinnati (45229). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at United American Cemetery, 4933 Duck Creek Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227.
