Carolyn Virge Stevens was born on February 8, 1943 to the late Howard and Pearl Virge in Decatar, Alabama. She had two older sisters and a younger brother. In 1950 the family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio.

Carolyn had a total of 14 children over the course of two marriages to her late husbands. At one point she mysteriously lost the use of her feet and could not walk for a number of years. As she would testify, Jesus came to her and told her to get up and miraculously she was able to walk. She regularly professed her belief in Jesus and her faith in Christ the Lord never faltered.

On Sunday, December 23, 2018, Carolyn departed this life.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on January 4, 2019, at Walker Funeral Home-Mt. Healthy Chapel. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow Vine Street Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
