Carolyn Pettis, age 56, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born Thursday, September 19, 1957 in Cincinnati,Ohio. She departed this life April 1, 2014. Our beloved Carolyn Pettis raised four children, Michael Pettis, Tyler Pettis, Daryl Pettis, Marquita Pettis, whom she loved dearly. She also raised her nephew, Timothy Barnes. Carolyn worked as a volunteer at The Contact Center. She volunteered until she became ill, at the same time, she went to college for Business Application. She graduated at the age of 50. Carolyn had four brothers and four sisters, Connie, Audrey, Carmile, Tazea (deceased), Doug, Jerome, Ivan and Bennie (deceased). Carolyn passed away from lung disease at the age of 56. Carolyn will always be remembered as a loving mother. My mother always allowed us to speak our minds. When we asked questions, she always gave us the truth. My mother helped us to become who we are. I bless her way to her meeting with God. They would have a wonderful conversation about her path in life.
