Carolyn Regina Criswell, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2025. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised in Avondale, Carolyn was known for her boundless love, giving nature,  tireless work ethic, and deep commitment to family and community. She was also very skilled in crafting artistic items to wear or showcase.

Throughout her life, Carolyn did everything to raise her children. She worked diligently in factories and later in nursing, always putting her family's needs first. Her strength and determination provided a solid foundation for her three beloved sons—Lonnie Criswell, Donshay Dudley, and Rodney Criswell (Paula)—and her cherished grandchildren—Shayiera Dudley, Rayking Criswell, Raionnie Criswell, and Raykari Criswell. Her relentless dedication not only ensured that her children were nurtured and cared for but also instilled in them the values of hard work, compassion, and perseverance.

Beyond her role as a provider, Carolyn's caring nature shone brightly in every aspect of her life. She loved spending time with family and friends, and her warm spirit enriched every gathering. Whether at family reunions or community events, her infectious smile and generous heart made her a true pillar in the lives of those around her.

Carolyn now joins her beloved mother, Gloria Criswell, and her brother, Vernon "Bunny" Fears, in eternal rest. She is survived by Charles Criswell (Lawanda), LaShawn Richardson (Jermaine), and Floria Overton (Sheldon). They will carry forward the cherished memories and enduring love of their beloved sibling.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy  (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
