Carol Ann Perry, a spicy lady with class and pizazz made her arrival on November 17, 1937 to Almeda Tye Weems and Jerry Weems in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the eldest of her siblings. Carol grew up in Lincoln Heights, Ohio where she went to Lockland Wayne High School. She graduated in 1956, and attended Central State University to study psychology. She married her high school sweetheart, William D. Perry (Bee) on December 31, 1958, celebrating 57 years of marriage, and their three daughters Tina Butler, Benita Perry (deceased), and Sonya Lunsford. Throughout her years, this quilt making cutie made her trend in the world. She enjoyed cooking, reading, crafting, spending time with family, and traveling the world along the side of her sweetheart. Carol worked for Merrill-Dowell, then went on to work for the State of Ohio where she eventually retired. Carol leaves not to mourn, but to rejoice in the legacy of her life and love her soul mate William Perry; her two daughters: Tina Butler and Sonya Lunsford (Randy); her grandchildren: Chanel Butler, Olajuwon Butler, Briana Smoot, Brandon Brown, Radiance Lunsford, Jordan Brooks, and Jaylen Brooks; her two great grandchildren: Iree and Zyon McAfee; her brothers and sisters: Jerry Weems (Annette), Arlene Goines (Chuck), Margaret Brown (Jimmy), Lorraine Larkins, Larry Weems, Ruth Ann Mitchell (Benny), Joseph Weems (Theresa), and Anthony Weems; her brother-in-laws Taylor Perry and Robert Grier; her sister-in-law Versie King; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Carol's indomitable spirit encouraged her family and friends to persist in the face of many struggles, as she always had a smile on her face and a joke on her lips. Until she was called home her love for family, friends, and the Lord remained unwavering. Our memories of her bright smile, helpfulness, and passion will continue to live on through her loved ones. Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Monday, March 21, 2016, at the Day Spring Church, 1060 Smiley Ave, Cincinnati (45240).
