Carmelita Yvonne Jones affectionately known as 'Pete' departed this earth after an extended illness. It was God's will for her to join him in the next journey of her new life. Pete was born in St. Paul Minnesota to the union of Richard L. Jones of Hyattsaville, Maryland and Mary L. Rozier of Cincinnati, Ohio. Pete was preceded in death by two brothers, Christopher U. Lang and Douglas A. Jones and nephew JaLauni J. Howard. She leaves two daughters, Chequia and Chanel, grandson Darnell Lawrence Jr., two granddaughters Mikayla Lawrence and Diorre Lawrence, sisters, Sandra Jones-Howard (John) and Helen.
