Carl 'Bud' Lewis, III, 41 of Cincinnati, Ohio, was called home on November 24, 2016. Bud was born on September 10, 1975 in Cincinnati, Ohio to his loving parents, Eleanor and Carl at Jewish Hospital. He attended Woodward High School in Cincinnati and graduated a mighty bulldog in 1993. He enjoyed listening to golden oldies music, watching classic t.v. game shows and eating his fried chicken. Bud traveled all over this country, thanks to his friend and caregiver Tilly Haugabook, whom he adored. He learned the value of hard work and perseverance from his other friend and caregiver, Charles Sanders. Bud is survived by his mother, Eleanor Colvard of Brunswick, Georgia; his siblings, Michael Colvard, Iris Colvard, Monica Rogers (Robert) and Jennifer Lewis-Thornton (Rudy); several beloved nieces, Trinay Davis (Kenya and Melanie), Tyra Colvard (Tyanna), Jessica Rogers, Veronica Rogers, and Isis Thornton; and, by one nephew and his namesake, Rameses Dwight Carl Thornton. He will continue to be loved by a whole host of other family members, friends and co-workers. Carl 'Bud' Lewis, III was preceded in death by his father, Carl Lewis, Jr. and his sister, Georgia Melanie Lewis. Visitation is from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm, on Friday, December 2, 2016, at the Walker- Walnut Hills Chapel, 1025 E. McMillan Street , Cincinnati (45206).
