Carl (Ricky) Jamison was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 26, 1949; the second eldest son to Mrs. Dorsie (Dottie) Jamison and John Lee Jamison.

He attended Madisonville Elementary School, Lyons Jr. High School and Withrow High School.  After high school, Ricky was employed with Dolly Madison Bakery and worked closely with two of his uncles, Danny and George Willis.

In 1972, he met and began a family with Ms. Jackie Boner and from that relationship they had two children.  Also, during that year, Ricky began employment at Keebler Company.

In the early adult years of Ricky's life, he maintained a management position at the Royal Skating Rink in the Walnut Hills neighborhood.  He enjoyed reminiscing of fond memories during his time there.  His energetic spirit and helpful personality allowed him the opportunity to make friends easily, on and off the rink.

Later during Ricky's adulthood, he gave his life to Christ and was baptized at Calvary Baptist Church, Cincinnati, OH.

Carl was preceded in death by his father, John Lee Jamison; sister, Lillie Ramsey; beloved big brother, Kenneth L. Jamison; and a nephew, Curtis Burton.

Carl, age 70, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Dorsie (Dottie) Jamison; his children, Nissa (Andre) Davis, Benjamin (Adrienne) Boner (Tonia and Derek Boner); and his siblings, Leora (Torie) (Willie) Waller, Annita Burton and Charlene Benna; sister-in-law, Dolly Jamison.  He is loved by his two grandsons, Barron and Braylen Davis; his aunts, Sarah, Lena and Rosie; his uncle, Herschel; and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation is from 9:00 am until 10:00 am on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the New Mission Missionary Baptist Church, 4809 Ravenna Street, Cincinnati  (45227).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow at United American Cemetery, 4933 Duck Creek Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227.
