Callie M. Grant was born on July 2, 1942, in Cuba, Alabama, and passed away on August 2, 2026. She was a beloved matriarch and a cherished member of her community. A proud graduate of Kennebish High School, Callie retired from Ford Motor Company after more than 40 years of service, where her strong work ethic shone just as brightly as her vibrant personality.

Callie was known not only for her dedication to her work but also for her absolute love of shopping! Whether she was hunting for the latest stylish clothes, the perfect purse, or the tastiest food, Callie had an eye for all things fabulous. She often said that a new outfit was the best accessory to make any day brighter!

She was the daughter of Fred Ruffin and Lily Belle Pearson and had a passion for family that equaled her passion for retail therapy. Though she was known to fuss at times—especially about the finer details of her favorite outfits—her love and dedication to her family were evident in everything she did.

Callie is survived by her child, Mallie Greenwood, and her grandchildren: Derrick Ruffin (Christina), who was more than just her grandson—he was practically her son; Michael Greenwood; and Don Davenport (Shannon and Donavan). She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and a wonderful work and church family who will miss her dearly. Callie was preceded in death by her two brothers, Johnny and Jerome, and her sister, Ethel.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 12:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

She will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45232
