Bryan Dwight Dean was born January 11, 1968 in Wichita, Kansas to Emmett L. Dean Jr., and Almetrice T. McPhaul Dean. He passed away September 1, 1993. Bryan Dwight Dean was active at St. Mark United Methodist Church from childhood until his departure from Wichita, singing in choirs, ushering and various groups. He attended the Wichita Public Schools graduating from Wichita South high School in 1986. he worked various jobs. He moved to Ft. Worth Texas for a short time; returned home and joined the United States Army participating in operation Dessert Storm. After serving four years he was discharged with an Honorable Discharge on October 14, 1992. and he reloated to Florence Kentucky. Bryan was involved in numberous activites; football, soccer, wresting, track, basketball. He played daily for funa dnd was playing it upon his call home. Those celebrating his home going are one daughter, Ina S. Dean, father, Emmett L. Dean jr., mother Ms. Almetrice T. Deah; brothers, Tony Dean, Adam Powell, and Emmett L. Dean III all of Wichita kansas; sisters, Carla R. Harper of Florence Kentucky and Ebony M. Dean and Felecia Cole of Wichita Kansas; brother in law Reginald D. Harper of Florence Kentucky; grandparents, Sammie A. and Bernice McPhaul of Wichita Kansas and Luella A. Dean of Okmulgee and one great grandmother, Gussie D. McIntosh and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral Tuesday, September 7, 1993 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mark United Methodist Church, 1425 North Lorraine, Wichita, Kansas.
