Obituary

Brent Foster, gracefully passed away in Cincinnati to the Lord on December 16, 2020, at the age of 83 and leaves a legacy of service to others.  Brent was born and raised in Cincinnati and although the only child of his late loving parents, Arthur and Margaret Foster, he always felt loved and cared for by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.  He is survived by 6 of 8 children, Linda Marie Foster, Rita Dixon (Lonnie), Terri Henderson (Larry), Tracie Foster, Arthur Foster III (Regina Gains),  and stepson Jim Connor (Deana Cruz). Preceding him in death were Arthelia and Brian.  He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

At an early age, he was heralded as a composer and singer performing with local R&B Groups.  His work took him to Detroit where he joined the Cement Masons Local 524 that led to a successful career including working on many landmark projects in Detroit and then in Cincinnati.  Upon returning to Cincinnati over 20 years ago, he joined a 12-Step Fellowship Program and Co-Founded the 3 Legacy Group.  His devotion and unwavering care and nurturing support of others has led to innumerable lives getting turned around.  His passion for cooking for others was known far and wide; most often when one telephoned him, they would hear "have to call you back I'm cooking". He became a member of Christ The King Church located within a block of his home.   He often commented on how he felt embraced by the support and care from the people of the Christ The King Church as to his material and spiritual needs, particularly Pastor Eric Tuffendsam.
