Brenda Ann Ramsey, also known as “B-Love”, age 59, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends on August 6th, 2026, in her home in Covington, KY.

She was born on September 30th, 1966, in Centerville, Alabama, to her mother, Willie Mae Thompson, and her father, Withrow Wilson Ramsey (Deceased).

Brenda attended Holmes High School in Covington, KY, and graduated in 1983. From there, she worked at the IRS as an administrative clerk and was very active in her community. Brenda volunteered with local/ state elections, advocated for the Jacob Price Housing Community, and many other organizations and programs around the city of Covington.

Brenda was kind, caring, loving, honest, and always had a great sense of humor. Brenda was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend. Anyone who knew “B-Love” knows that she always made you feel welcome and seen. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, celebrating holidays/birthdays, and having game nights.

Brenda is survived by her son, William “Tony” Ramsey; grandchildren, Isaiah Willman, Justice Ramsey, Azayiah Ramsey, and A'jon “Johnny” Jones and one great-grandchild, Ja'Ziyah Gover; her brothers: Timothy Ramsey, Ted Ramsey, Mark Ramsey (Deceased); her sisters: Mallie Thompson, Porsche Thompson, Nicole Thompson; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and friends.

Brenda will truly be missed and will be forever in our hearts.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the Walker Funeral Home - Northern Kentucky, 1129 Garrard Street, Covington (41011). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, beginning at 12:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.

She will be laid to rest at Mother of God Cemetery.
