Ms. Brenda Jean Moore was born on August 30, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio, one of four children, born to the blessed union of the late Prophet Ralph and Hester Cave. She departed this life on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at her residence in Fairfield, Ohio. Brenda graduated from Taylor High School and worked at Western & Southern, the IRS, and the Formica Corporation. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, in 1979 with a B.S. degree, she began her career at the Formica Corporation and retired after 23 years of service as manager of North American Consumer Relations. She loved that her job allowed her to travel throughout the United States. After leaving Formica, she began more extensive traveling , visiting Hawaii/Maui (over nine times), Aruba and various places in the continental United States. Brenda had a second career with the State of Ohio as an Administrator for the BMV Reinstatement Office, retiring after several years of service. She met some wonderful people, consumers, and co-workers, including Derek Hooten, Aiasha Watley, and Nina Pugh. Brenda loved and lived life to the fullest extent. She adored spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren, family, and friends. In addition, she enjoyed cooking/ baking, tending her garden/yard, and she especially enjoyed music. She was also a Girl Scout troop leader, Cookie Mom, and Soccer Mom. Her zest for life was unmatched. She leaves behind to mourn her passing her aunt; Helen Hilgeman, two daughters; Tamela D. Williams, Maia M. (Jestun) Brown, siblings; Donzuella Goodwin, Ralph Jr (Cindy) Cave, Arthur Cave, grandchildren; Joshua (Tagashia) Gordon, Jordan Williams, Brynn-Marie Johnson, Logan Brown, Halle Brown, Maui Brown, Jamieson Brown, and Georgia Brown, great granddaughter; Aubrey Gordon, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives and caring friends. Visitation is from 11:00 am until 12 noon, on Friday, May 18, 2018, at the Walker Funerals & Cremations, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy (45231). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45232.
