Brenda Joyce
Jackson
February 22, 1949 – April 11, 2026
Brenda Joyce Jackson, affectionately known as “Bonnie” to her close family and friends, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Brenda was born on February 22, 1949, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Margaret Mitchell and Edgar Armstrong. After Margaret’s divorce, Brenda and her siblings were raised by James Mitchell.
Brenda’s journey took her from Cincinnati to Cleveland, where she met and married William Edward Hubbard. From this union, she was blessed with two daughters, Temple Denise Parker and Tammie Sophia (Lee) Larkins, who remained the center of her world.
Following their divorce, Brenda built a career in optometry, where she later met her longtime companion and love, William Tell, who played an important role in helping raise and care for her children. Later, Brenda married George Jackson.
Brenda was a woman rooted in love and family. She was a devoted mother, a proud grandmother, a caring sister, and a loyal friend. Her life was defined by her ability to nurture, support, and pour into others with quiet strength and genuine compassion.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Mitchell, Edgar Armstrong, and James Mitchell; her sister Jacqueline Ayers; and her niece Marlaina Ayers.
Brenda Joyce Jackson leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Temple Denise Parker and Tammie Sophia (Lee) Larkins; her grandchildren, Antonio, Kyle, Korey, Ashlee, Kaleb, and Austin; her great-grandchildren, Rayna, Antonia, Antonio Jr., Jahmiah, Lila, and Kyro; her sisters, Doris Jean Patterson and Crystal Mitchell; and her brothers, James (Linda) Mitchell and Lorenzo (Holly) Mitchell, along with a host of extended family and friends who loved her deeply.
Brenda will be remembered for her warmth, her kindness, and the way she made people feel seen, cared for, and loved. Her legacy lives on in the lives she nurtured and the family she held so close.
