It is with deep sadness we announce the heavenly transition of Brenda J. Dye, age 82. The loving mother of David Dye and the late Debbie Dye passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024. She was born on March 1, 1942 to the late Chester and Sadie Davis. She was preceded in death by her sister the late Juanita Turner. She is survived by her granddaughter Tiffany Costello, great-granddaughter Lucia, sister Pat Hall,  her best friend Corinne Mincy, her nieces and many other loving family and friends.

Brenda was known for her love of football especially the Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs. She was also an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds and never missed an episode of General Hospital.

Brenda was a beacon of light and hope for everyone that knew her. Her kindness was only matched by her compassion and warmth. The depth of love Brenda shared with all of us will ever remain in or hearts.

Visitation is from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at the Walker Funeral Home - Mt. Healthy, 7272 Hamilton Avenue , Mt. Healthy  (45231).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy  leaves behind.

Interment will follow at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
