Bonita Ellen Britten was born February 1, 1952 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Rose E. Sofer and John W. Sofer. Bonnie departed this life suddenly at her home on Friday, September 22, 2006 at the age of 54. Bonnie was employed with the Internal Revenue Service for 17 years. She was a seasoned Tax Examiner who possessed a wealth of knowledge and skills. She was very active in the accounting department taking on different challenges. Bonnie would boldly speak up and out against issues that effected her and co-workers. She felt no Christian should ever feel excused for helping another carry each other's burden. Bonnie was great with conflict management which ultimately lead to her assignment as Union Steward. She served in this capacity for three years. Bonnie leaves in loving memory: two daughters, Alisa Renee and Le-Kiesha Yvette Britten; mother, Rose Ellen Sofer, grandchildren, Tatyana and Jaraay, siblings, Marvin, Darlene, Charlene, Anthony, and Cheryl. Her youngest sister Kernie preceded her in death. She leaves many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers: Andre Branham, Courtney Sofer, Evan Sofer, Dion Branham, Maurice Davis, Tony Sofer Jr. Honorary Pallbearers: Marvin Sofer, Anthony Sofer, Timothy Bookers. Funeral 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 29, 2006 at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 2365 Compton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio with Rev. Cecil Ferrell officiating. Interment Spring Grove Cemetery.
