In Memory Of Bobbi Kristina 'Krissy' Brown 1993-2015 Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of singers Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, died July 26, 2015 having been in a coma since Jan. 31, 2015. She was 22. Brown's condition had been in the news since she was found alive but unresponsive in a bathtub in her home Jan. 31 in a chillingly similar situation to that of her own mother, who died Feb. 11, 2012, of drowning in a bathtub. Brown was placed in a medically induced coma, and though the media have frequently speculated on her condition in the months since, she never fully awoke from the coma. Brown appeared on reality TV shows including 'Being Bobby Brown' and 'The Browns: On Our Own.' She also played a role on season two of 'Tyler Perry's for Better or Worse.' She occasionally sang with her mother, recording 'Little Drummer Boy' together and performing onstage with her. Brown was a member of an R&B music dynasty that extends far beyond her famous parents. In addition to her father, she is survived by her grandmother, gospel music legend Cissy Houston; uncle, singer and former NBA player Gary Garland; and cousins including singers Dionne Warwick and Leontyne Price and rapper Damon Elliott. She is also survived by half-siblings Landon, La'Princia, Robert Jr. and Cassius Funeral services were held August 1, 2015 at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. Brown was buried two days later on August 3, 2015, next to her mother at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey. This tribute placed in honor of Bobbi Kristina Brown.
