Blanche A. McGrady July 17, 1935 - December 30, 2022

Blanche A. McGrady was born July 17th, 1935, the fourth of seven children to William & Nellie Young (Vaughn) both parents preceded her in death.

A Cincinnati native, Blanche grew up in the then popular, "West End" where she also attended school and obtained her high school equivalence Diploma.

A devoted wife, Blanche married the late Lawrence E. McGrady on September 1, 1961, he then proceeded her in death in 1978.

Blanche spent many years working in manufacturing as a Product Line Assembler before her career change into Healthcare as a Phlebotomist. Soon after retirement, Blanche re-entered the workforce as a Security Officer. In her past time, Blanche enjoyed crocheting and painting artwork. But her favorite things to do were traveling, Casino's and Bowling; She belonged to two bowling leagues at Frisco's and Mergards.

Although Blanche had no children of her own, she gave a true meaning to "aunties are like moms" she loved & nurtured all her nieces and nephews as if they were children of her own. Blanche was a very social and outgoing, her candor, zest for life, her family & others will truly be missed!

Blanche leaves to cherish her sweet & loving sister Barbara. Five sisters, Mildred, Geneva, Sis, Blanche, Julia, and a brother William Jr who have proceeded her in death.  A host of nieces & nephews and beloved family & friends

Gathering of family  and friends  is from 2:00 pm until 2:30 pm, on  Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati  (45229).   The Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 2:30 pm.

In keeping with CDC Covid19 Guidelines, we encourage those who are not fully vaccinated to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
