Born Aug. 30, 1959 in Rural, KY to Billy and Julia (Rogers) Watkins. She married John Shafer on Aug. 30, 1980, and had their daughter at 23. A Graduate of S.O.C., she became a clerk of courts in Cincinnati. She enjoyed camping, vacations and holidays and was a member of ABATE, ASPCA and ADA. Her first grandchild is due Oct. 9, 2011. Survived by her mother, Julia Woodward; soul mate, John Shafer; daughter, Kristin Shafer Warnock; son-in-law, Adam Warnock; brothers, Benny Stevens and Bobby Woodward; sisters, Lana Watkins and Debra (Charles) Chamberlain. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Watkins and brother, Michael Watkins. Services are at Walker - Mt. Healthy Chapel, 7272 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, Ohio. Burial at Rose Hill.
