Smith
May 21, 1960 – August 24, 2025
Beverly Ann Smith was born to the union of Kenneth T. Smith and Daisy L. Smith (nee Scott) on May 21, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by both her parents, Ma and Diddy, five siblings-Anna (Flethcher), Sharon, Ronald, Kevin, Robert, and one cousin David Scott (Angela).
Beverly attended Garfield Elementary, Heinold Jr., and Hughes Sr. High School. Although she did not complete high school. Beverly proceeded to get her G.E.D, allowing her to attend and graduate from Southern Ohio College in Nursing.
She went on to work with disabled children for a short while before moving on to a position at Bethesda Hospital. From there she worked as an ACC Clerk at Good Samaritan Hospital. Beverly then went on to work at the IRS in Kentucky until she decided to retire.
She was a generous person, always giving to others and offering to help people in any way she could. She enjoyed music, playing cards, food, and just having a fun time in general. Of the many things Beverly liked to do, shopping and being on the computer is what she loved most. Beverly endured different illnesses until she fell asleep in death, where she is now at peace.
Beverly leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved daughter LaKisha (Troy Jones). companion Robert Emerson, siblings Kennith (Love), Lavaun (Lamor-preceded in death), Brenda, Danny (Sharon (preceded in death), Jeanette Norman, Michael, Katherine, Karen, and Calvin Scott (cousin), Edwina (sister-in-law); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation is from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm, on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 3:00 pm. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy she leaves behind.
