Sanders
February 1, 1956 – November 20, 2025
Beverly Ann Sanders was born on February 1st, 1956, to the Late James L. and Virginia Brooks, nee Wilder, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her brother Marvin Brooks.
As the seventh of eight children, Ann, as she was known by her family and friends, was very close to her parents. She was raised in the Walnut Hills area of Cincinnati, which is where she made numerous life-long connections. She attended Hughes High School and was baptized at Evergreen Baptist Church.
Later in life, she would attend Cross Roads Church in Oakley. She met George E. Sanders in her late teens, and they would go on to get married on August 17, 1992. Bev (as she was known to coworkers) had many different job titles throughout her working Career. The company that she devoted most of her professional time to was Episcopal Retirement Homes. She was also a caregiver/mother figure to younger generations.
Bev was a person who prided herself in being responsible and very hard working. Always putting others first, being a dependable and caring person who others could call on in their time of need. Everyone who knew Bev benefited from her love and generosity. She cared deeply for her children and grandchildren.
Ann departed this life on November 20th, 2025. She leaves behind, not to mourn her loss but to honor her love and memories, her husband George E. Sanders, her Children, Mark (April) Brooks. Cashauna Brooks, George (Allison) Sanders, Katia Milon, Andre (Jenna) Sanders, and Gavin (Devine) Sanders. 23 grandkids, 7 great-grandkids. Her Aunt Mary Wilder, four brothers, Willie C. (Dawn) Brooks, Melvin (Kay) Brooks, (Wanda) Brooks, Robert (Vicki) Brooks, Pierre (Sandra) Brooks. Two Sisters Bobbi Jean (Willie)Thompson, Earnestine Jackson, and along with a host of cousins' nieces and nephews, sisters, and brothers-in-law.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel, 2625 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati (45206). The memorial service will begin at 11:00 am.
She will be laid to rest at Vine Street Hill Cemetery.
