Beverly A. (Nia) Keeling was born December 4, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Louia and Mabel Steward. She attended Hughes High School where she sang in the choir and was part of the Glee Club. Beverly furthered her education by attending Southwestern Secretarial School and received a degree as an executive assistant. She had many careers along the way as a day care provider, nurse's aid, and a plethora of many volunteer activities in her community and church. She truly loved to read and write. she loved all forms of art, music, poetry, celebration of history. She was socially active in her church and community. Her favorite quote was 'It takes a village to raise a child.' She was preceded in death by her parents, Louia Steward and Mabel Steward and her brother, Louis E Steward. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her beloved children, Norman S. (Laquita) Steward of Little Rock, Arkansas, Ryon E. Williams Jr. of Florida, sisters, Esther Steward and Ella L. (Orlando) Robb; and two first cousins that were loved like sisters, Clara Shannon and Joann Smith; seven grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her and to be touched by her words of wisdom. Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 31 at Shiloh Seventh Day Adventist Church with Rev. Harcourt King officiating.
