Celebrating the Life Of Bettye Jean Scott Thomas Services Thursday, December 14, 2017 5:00 pm Visitation 6:00 pm Funeral Service Walker Funeral Home - Walnut Hills Chapel 1025 E. McMillan Street Cincinnati, Ohio 45206 Obituary Bettye Jean Thomas was born in Lumpkin, Georgia, to Will Scott and Gracie Carter Scott. She attended Lumpkin High School. Bettye married David Beall, and to this union a son was born, Bernard Wesley Beall. She also raised her niece as her daughter, Delores Richardson Scott. After many years she departed to go on her own. As Bettye took this journey, she met the love of her life, Willie G. Thomas. Bettye worked as a Home Health Caregiver. She and Willie started the God's Believers Temple, where she served until God called her home. Bettye was preceded in death by her mother and father, two brothers, four sisters, and her son. Bettye leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Willie G. Thomas; her daughters: Delores (Wayne, Texas) and Sheila Thomas; son: DeAnthony Thomas; granddaughters: Veronica Beall and Vernsha Beall (Georgia), and Angela Dews (Texas); grandsons: Andre, Brian, and Kevin Dews (Texas); six great grandchildren: Tristan, Jaxsen, and Callie Dews, Trevion, Alexis, and Lamare J. Dews; nephews: Paul, Melvin, and Reggie Scott, Bobby and Larry Carter, and Roland Crawford, Jr.; nieces: Roxanne Lewis, Audrey Dawson, Lola, Hattie Mae, and Bonnie Carter; special friends: Allen Beaver and Sylvia Morton; and a host of friends and cousins. She will truly be missed.
