Betty Batchelor, age 83, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on March 8, 1942, in Cincinnati, she spent her entire life in the city she called home. Betty dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She worked in the medical field as a nurse's aide from the mid-1960s until her retirement in 1993. Her commitment to helping those in need was a hallmark of her career and a reflection of her compassionate spirit. A devoted Catholic, Betty was a faithful member of the Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and guidance throughout the years. She is survived by her sons, Jason and Byron, and her siblings, Eugene Jr., Steven, Barbara, and Gladys. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Donnell Batchelor; her parents, Eugene Burl Sr. and Rosalee Webb, and countless cherished memories they shared. Betty found joy in music, movies, reading, and cooking. These simple pleasures brought light to her days and enriched the lives of those around her. Her hard work and selflessness left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. May Betty's memory bring comfort to those who knew her and serve as a reminder of a life well-lived.
