Bertha Mae Cannon Armstead Born May 9, 1921, in Greenville, South Carolina, she was the only child of the late J. D. and Phyllis Cannon. She depated this life after a length illness on May 10, 2009. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Frank Armstead, daughter, Carol Ann Gentry, and special friend, Julian Elliott (Mr. June). She leaves behind a beautiful family circle: Ronald, Phillip (Marilyn), Glen (Mary), Kenneth (Barbara), Frank (Lavern), Richard, Charlene Taylor (William), Bruce, Jerald (Karen), Julian (Traci), twenty-six grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchildren, and an honorary son, Preston Triggs.
