Bernard Fairbanks was born on October 17th 1959 in Cincinnati Ohio to Woodrow and Inez Fairbanks. He was the youngest of 10 siblings.

Bernard departed this life on Saturday January 31, 2026 after suffering from cancer to a better home where there is everlasting love and peace.  He accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized at the Warehouse Church under Co-Pastors Adam and Darlene Miller.

Bernard was a quiet and soft-spoken man with a warm friendly smile that drews you in. He enjoyed baseball, listening to music, food especially hamburgers and laughter. We all love and will miss him.

He leaves the cherish his precious memories:  Daughters: Traleathea Bernadette Fairbanks and La'Keyta Inez Hoffman; Siblings: twin brother Benjamin Fairbanks;  Brothers; Woodrow Fairbanks spouse (Marcella); Marvin Fairbanks spouse (Laura) Sisters; Marie Fairbanks; Diana Fairbanks; Louise Pye spouse  (Raymond) also a host of nieces nephews and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, on  Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Walker Event Center, 3939 Reading Road (Corner of Reading and Paddock), Cincinnati  (45229). The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation,  beginning at 11:00 am. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind.

He will be laid to rest at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.
