Obituary

Florence Beatrice Landrum Randall was born July 26, 1927, to the late Clarence and Blanche Landrum in Cincinnati, OH. She was known to everyone as "Beatrice."

Beatrice fell asleep on November 6, 2025, and is now resting in the arms of Jesus.

She was raised in Providence Baptist Church, where she accepted Christ at an early age.

Beatrice started to play piano at the young age of four. She traveled with her father around the city to accompany him on the piano. She was so small he had to lift her onto the piano stool. The first song she played for him at the age of four was "Somebody Touched Me."

Beatrice later joined New Highpoint Baptist Church under the leadership of Arthur Randall, her husband and pastor of the church where she played until her health failed.

She was a member of the Minister's Wives Association and many ministries in the church.

Beatrice worked as an Avon representative and Real Estate Investor.

She loved to dress up. On Sundays, she would wear her matching hat, shoes, and purse. For the 3:30 p.m. service, she would often wear a completely different outfit. In today's terms, she would be called a Fashionista.

Beatrice's memory began to fade. However, her musical gifts were still intact. She occasionally played piano and sang some of her favorite hymns in the nursing home chapel for staff and residents.

She never forgot the Lord. We are grateful to GOD for her long life. Beatrice contributed both physically and financially to her church.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Clarence and Blanche Landrum; brothers Clarence Melvin, Alex and James Alvin; sisters Laura Bell, Geraldine, Katherine and Odessa; and her husband, Pastor Arthur Randall.

Left to cherish her memories are a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 10:30 am until 11:30 am, on  Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Providence Baptist Church, 826 Dayton St, Cincinnati  (45214).   The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation,  beginning at 11:30 am.
