Survived by sister, Bev (Paul) Upton, brother, Don (Lynn) Bussman, sister, Chris (Tod) Fischesser, sister, Dede (Ron) Mounce, sister, Michelle (Daniel) D'Angelico, and sister, Renee (Dave) Bode. Aunt to nephew, Jeremy Mounce, nephew, A J Upton, nephew, Tyler Fischesser, niece, Nikki (Chris Wright) Upton, niece, Tricia Mounce, nephew, Troy Fischesser, niece, Lindsay Upton, nephew, TJ Fischesser, niece, Stefanie Bussman, nephew, Logan Bode. and great-niece, Andrea Wright, Loving guardian for five years for Mykalah Leigh. Barb will always be remembered as a brilliant, caring lady who loved life. Her greatest joys were her family, friends, patients, pets & career. Using the hands God gave her, she carried out His work for 41-years as a nurse. Her nursing career gave her precisely what she loved the most, giving her love and her heart to others. Her knowledge and her gracious nature made her an angel to so many. Barb devoted much of her life to her dogs, eventually breeding and racing Whippets. She also loved to cheer on her favorite sports teams. For years she was a Rosie Red, had season tickets and traveled to out of town games. She also loved hockey, football, basketball and especially watching her niece play volleyball. Being creative was second nature to her as she loved making crafts and knitting. Her enthusiasm for all of this was enormous, as well as for everything she did! Nothing compared to her love for the elderly and children. Her face would light up and sparkle bright in their presence, as she was exactly where she wanted to be. Nothing gave her greater pleasure than to spend time with her nieces, nephews and later Mykalah, to whom she was legal guardian. She gave them everything she had to give and would have given them the world if she had had it to give. God bless her for all the kindness she shared with everyone. Barb's wisdom and intelligence educated and encouraged all who knew her. There was never a question she could not answer and she always knew exactly what advice to give. As a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, Godmother and friend, as well as a mentor to her staff and later her caregivers, she will always be cherished and remain in the hearts of so many. Without her we are lost and our hearts are filled with sadness. But now we rejoice, as it is comforting to know she is in the hands of the Lord and singing with the Angels...
